Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Corporation is seeking a full-time Master Data Processor to support creation and maintenance of material master data within Marathon's inventory systems. You will collaborate with Supply Chain partners to ensure accurate records and drive continuous improvement of material master processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• 4+ years of data entry or data evaluation in supply chain or related fields.
• SAP or similar ERP systems experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and process new material requests for warehouse inventory into material master data records.
• Review and process requests for changes to existing material master data records.
• Prevent duplicate records and standardize material descriptions and classifications.
• Request additional information from stakeholders to ensure accuracy and searchability.
• Contribute to data quality improvements and continuous improvement projects.
