Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Corporation LP is seeking a full-time Master Data Processor in Findlay, Ohio to support creation and maintenance of material master data across inventory systems. You will collaborate with Supply Chain partners to ensure accurate records, process new material requests, and drive data quality improvements through ongoing reviews and standardization efforts.

Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems and MS Office is preferred, with at least 4 years in data entry or data

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree or equivalent in business administration or related field preferred.
4+ years of data entry, evaluation of data, supply chain, or related experience required. Knowledge of materials master and related master data processes preferred.
Computer Proficiencies: Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products. SAP or similar ERP systems experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Review, evaluate, and process new material requests for warehouse inventory into material master data records in the appropriate inventory management system(s).
Review, evaluate, and process requests for changes to existing material master data records in the appropriate inventory management system(s).
Perform steps during the material master data create process to prevent duplicate records from being created and incorporate best practices related to the standardization of description content and material classification.
