Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Company LP is seeking a full-time Master Data Processor to support the creation and maintenance of material master data across Marathon's inventory management systems. The role reports to the Supply Chain Operations Material Master Supervisor and requires collaboration with stakeholders on new records, updates, and data quality.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of data entry, evaluation of data, supply chain, or related experience.
• Knowledge of materials master and related master data processes preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP or similar ERP systems experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review, evaluate, and process new material requests for warehouse inventory into material master data records.
• Review, evaluate, and process requests for changes to existing material master data records.
• Prevent duplicates and standardize descriptions and classifications in material master data.
• Request additional information from stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and searchability.
• Support data quality improvements, data cleansing, and process optimization.
• Provide support to stakeholders on material master data processes.
• Perform data analysis to support metrics and ad-hoc requests.
