Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Company LP is seeking a Master Data Processor to create and maintain material master data within inventory systems. You will collaborate with Supply Chain partners, ensure accurate records, and support data quality initiatives.

This full-time role is based in Findlay, Ohio, offering a comprehensive rewards program and potential for a discretionary bonus. Strong analytical skills and ERP experience are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• 4+ years of data entry, evaluation of data, supply chain, or related experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP or similar ERP experience preferred.
• Grade N4-N5; posted level commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Review, evaluate, and process new material requests for warehouse inventory into material master data records in the appropriate inventory management system(s).
• Review, evaluate, and process requests for changes to existing material master data records in the appropriate inventory management system(s).
• Perform steps during the material master data create process to prevent duplicate records and standardize descriptions and material classification.
• Initiate requests for additional information from customer stakeholders when required to ensure material master data records are accurate and searchable.
• Support data quality improvements and continuous improvement efforts, data cleansing, and process optimization.
