Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Company LP is seeking a full-time Master Data Processor to create, maintain, and analyze material master data across Marathon's inventory systems. You will collaborate with Supply Chain partners on data requests, updates, and ongoing data quality initiatives to ensure accurate, searchable records.

Responsibilities include processing new material requests, preventing duplicates, and supporting continuous improvement efforts related to material master data.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• 4+ years of data entry or data evaluation, supply chain, or related experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP or similar ERP systems experience preferred.
• Knowledge of materials master data processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review, evaluate, and process new material requests for warehouse inventory into material master data records.
• Review, evaluate, and process requests for changes to existing material master data records.
• Perform steps during the material master data create process to prevent duplicates and standardize descriptions.
• Request additional information from stakeholders to ensure records are accurate and searchable.
• Support data quality improvements, cleansing, and material master process optimization.
• Provide support to customer stakeholders and business partners on material master data.
• Perform data analysis for metrics reporting and ad-hoc requests.
