Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Company LP is seeking a full-time Master Data Processor to support the creation and maintenance of material master data within Marathon’s inventory systems. You will collaborate with Supply Chain partners to ensure accurate, searchable records and assist with data quality initiatives.

Key responsibilities include processing new material requests, updating existing records, preventing duplicates, and supporting data standardization and classification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• 4+ years in data entry, data evaluation, or related experience.
• Experience with material master data and SAP/ERP systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review, evaluate, and process new material requests for warehouse inventory into material master data records.
• Review, evaluate, and process requests for changes to existing material master data records.
• Prevent duplicate records and standardize description content and material classification.
• Initiate requests for additional information from customer stakeholders to ensure data accuracy.
• Support data quality improvements and continuous improvement efforts.
• Provide support to customer stakeholders and business partners on material master data processes.
• Perform data analysis for metrics reporting, duplicate data reviews, and ad-hoc requests.
