Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Material Coordinator/Planner for a Houston site project. The role supports material planning and coordination for a manufacturing facility build, ensuring accurate material identification, storage, and on-site issue to installation teams.

You will work with project controls, engineers, supply chain, and construction teams to align material delivery with the construction schedule and design revisions. A bachelor’s degree plus experience on capital projects is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) with 2–5 years of relevant experience or 6–9 years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of receiving, material handling, warehousing, inventory control, and storage practices.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to coordinate with procurement, suppliers, and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate material availability and reporting of material work package statuses for installation.
• Plan, identify required materials, storage, and shipping details; ensure materials are available ahead of installation.
