Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in Minnesota is seeking a Material Handling Team Lead to provide leadership in material handling areas and drive continuous improvement toward PQVC goals.

You will lead teams to move material safely and efficiently, coordinate daily production, and ensure customer satisfaction on a 3rd shift schedule. Qualifications include experience with material handling equipment, SAP/Mach 1, and prior leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months intermediate computer usage for tracking and communications.
• Experience driving material handling equipment (e.g. counterbalance, turret, reach, picker).
• 3 months minimum experience using SAP / Mach 1 or similar.
• Work history or attached resume must be included.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to material handling work areas and drive PQVC goals.
• Lead daily production, update metrics, and adjust schedules as needed.
• Coordinate and prioritize work to meet production schedules.
• Maintain labor hour records and production documentation.
• Identify and resolve safety, quality, and delivery issues with support functions.
• Train employees on job skills, problem solving and cross-training.
• Support PQVC initiatives and daily activities.
