Stellantis Detroit plant is seeking a Material Handling Shift Manager to lead teams of hourly and salaried staff, ensuring material receiving and delivery align with daily production targets. The role troubleshoots issues, allocates resources, and maintains throughput while promoting Stellantis Production Way.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge and application demonstrated.
• Ability to lead workforce and hit KPIs.
• Experience resolving employee conflicts professionally.
• Excellent oral and written communication; proficient with MS Office/Google Suite.
• Shift work and overtime flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Manpower management including hiring, training, performance and retention.
• Utilizes problem solving skills and lean tools to root cause top issues.
• Interacts with bargaining and non-bargaining employees and executive leadership.
• Leads Safety, Quality and Cost initiatives per Plant and Corporate guidance.
