Job summary

Stellantis in Sterling Heights, MI is seeking a Material Operations Manager to lead daily material flow on the production floor and support Plant Production Operations Centers, Safety, Quality, Engineering and MLM Production Control.

You will manage a cross-functional team of salaried employees, oversee hiring, training, performance, and retention, and drive lean initiatives under the Stellantis Production Way.

Qualifications

• Manpower management including hiring, training, performance and retention for salary employees.
• Lead material throughput improvement and downtime mitigation initiatives.
• Participate in Lean Management activities for the Logistics Customer Service pillar using kaizen methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily material flow operations on the production floor.
• Directly manage a cross-functional team of salaried employees.
• Collaborate with Plant Production Operations Centers, Safety, Quality, Engineering and MLM Production Control Operations.
• Promote lean Stellantis Production Way activities.
