Job summary

Nebraska Ash, a NEBCO Company, seeks a high-performing Material Handler Foreman to lead safe loading, moving, shipping and ticketing of ash products at our locations, including the power plant site. The role requires adherence to safety programs and availability for 6 am–6 pm schedules, with 40–50 hours weekly and potential weekend work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of maintenance/repair experience preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License required and insurable under company plan.

Responsibilities

• Oversee material handlers and provide guidance and training as needed.
• Communicate with Plant Operations & Maintenance Lead about potential problems and timelines.
• Operate and ensure safe operation of front end loader, skid loader, Shuttle wagon and related equipment.
• Ensure proper tickets are written for orders per requirements.
• Coordinate with customers and staff to plan daily operations.
• Maintain equipment according to safety standards and perform routine checks.
