Job summary

Nebraska Ash, a NEBCO Company, is seeking a Material Handler Foreman to lead and perform safe loading, moving, and ticketing of ash products at our power plant locations. Typical day` hours run from early morning to early evening with 40–50 hours weekly and occasional weekend work.

Candidates must pass a background check and pre-employment physical with drug testing. Responsibilities include supervising material handlers, coordinating daily operations, and ensuring equipment safety and ticket

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of experience with mechanical maintenance and repairs on vehicles or equipment.
• Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Material Handlers and provide guidance and training as needed.
• Coordinate with Plant Operations & Maintenance Lead on potential problems, status and timeline of projects.
• Operate and ensure safe operation of rubber tire front end loader, skid loader, Shuttle wagon and other equipment used to load trucks and railcars.
• Ensure appropriate tickets are written for orders according to requirements.
• Work with customers and appropriate personnel to identify and plan daily operations.
• Maintain equipment and ensure safety standards are met.
