Job summary

G&W Electric is seeking a Material Handler II to move, store and track materials across cells and the central warehouse. You will verify part numbers, conduct inventory transactions, and support manufacturing with timely material handling.

The role requires forklift operation, standing/walking, and teamwork; a high school diploma or GED and a valid license are required, with 1–3 years in manufacturing preferred. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret Bills of Material.
• Must have intermediate level computer skills.
• Must be able to provide proof of forklift certification and demonstrate PIT operation knowledge.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license and a High School diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years manufacturing experience preferred; 3–5 years PIT/forklift experience ideal.
• Must be able to operate pallet jacks, forklifts and stackers safely.

Responsibilities

• Unload, move and store materials; conduct bin maintenance as needed.
• Unload incoming materials, verify quantities and part numbers; report shortages or damage.
• Move materials between cells following routing and orders.
• Fill orders and deliver to designated cells; operate lift equipment.
• Perform inventory transactions in the ERP system and conduct cycle counts.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment; train others as needed.
