Job summary

G&W Electric is seeking a Material Handler II to move materials between cells and the central warehouse, ensuring accurate identification and quantities. The role involves unloading, storing, and transporting materials, and performing inventory in the company system.

The position requires forklift/PIT operation, reading Bills of Materials, intermediate computer skills, and a valid driver's license. Prior warehouse or manufacturing experience is preferred; high school diploma or GED is

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with warehouse or material handling is a plus.
• Must have forklift/PIT operation knowledge and safety training.

Responsibilities

• Move materials between cells/departments and central warehouse.
• Unload, inspect, and store materials; report shortages or damage.
• Move materials between cells following routing and orders.
• Fill and deliver orders from storage to designated cells.
• Operate hand truck and powered lift trucks; load/unload trucks.
• Perform inventory transactions in the business system; complete cycle counts.
