Job summary

The Hillman Group in Minnesota is seeking a Material Handler to move materials and finished products using powered industrial equipment. The role supports operations by loading, unloading, and delivering to workstations.

You will operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and order pickers, maintain accurate inventory, and follow safety procedures. The shift is 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with an hourly pay of $20.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required or equivalent experience.
• Material handling experience is strongly preferred.
• Forklift Certification required.
• Familiarity with part numbering systems is a plus.
• Able to operate a pallet jack, forklift, and order picker.
• Able to work accurately from verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operates a variety of powered, industrial equipment
• Loads and unloads trucks
• Ability to use a hand scanner
• Picks-up incoming materials from the Receiving dock
• Unloads and puts away stock in the Bulk storage area
• Provides replenishment materials to workstations in a timely manner
• Pulls and stocks correct product to appropriate boxes and pick locations
• Transfers finished products to designated areas
• Stacks empty skids and pallets in designated areas
• Operates a manual and/or motorized pallet jack
• Uses knowledge and experience to resolve basic operating problems; reports other problems to manger

Work Environment

Material Handler: Must be forklift operation certified. Standing on concrete floors up to 8 hrs/day. Exposure to loud noise. Functional vision and hearing required.

Material Handler: Medium - Heavy, lifting up to 70 lbs.
