Job summary

Hillman is seeking a Material Handler to support Operations by moving and stocking materials and finished products to designated areas within the facility. The role requires operating hand scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts, and related equipment, with a focus on accuracy and timely replenishment.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs and work in a warehouse environment with safety awareness.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with part numbering is a plus.
• Must be able to operate pallet jack, forklift and order picker.

Responsibilities

• Move and stock materials and finished products to designated areas.
• Picks up incoming materials from Receiving dock and unloads stock in Bulk storage.
• Provide replenishment materials to workstations in a timely manner.
• Pull and stock correct product to boxes and pick locations.
• Transfer finished products to designated areas and stack pallets in designated areas.
• Operate manual and/or motorized pallet jack; report issues to supervisor.

Job Summary

Supports Operations by moving and stocking materials and finished products to designated areas in the facility.

Essential Job Functions *

• Ability to use a hand scanner
• Picks-up incoming materials from the Receiving dock
• Unloads and puts away stock in the Bulk storage area
• Provides replenishment materials to workstations in a timely manner
• Pulls and stocks correct product to appropriate boxes and pick locations
• Transfers finished products to designated areas
• Stacks empty skids and pallets in designated areas
• Operates a manual and/or motorized pallet jack
• Uses knowledge and experience to resolve basic operating problems; reports other problems to manger

Education & Experience

Work Environment

Material Handler: Must be forklift operation certified. Standing on concrete floors up to 8 hrs/day. Exposure to loud noise. Functional vision and hearing required.
