Job summary

The Hillman Group in Cincinnati is seeking a Material Handler to move materials and finished products using powered industrial equipment, load/unload trucks, and replenish workstations as needed.

Shifts are Sunday–Thursday, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM, with pay at $18.50/hour plus a $1.50 shift differential. A High School diploma or GED is required, forklift certification is mandatory, and safety, accuracy, and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Material handling experience is strongly preferred.
• Forklift Certification required.
• Familiarity with part numbering systems is a plus.
• Able to operate a pallet jack, forklift, order picker and Drexel.
• Able to work accurately from verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operates a variety of powered, industrial equipment
• Loads and unloads trucks
• Ability to use a hand scanner
• Picks-up incoming materials from the Receiving dock
• Unloads and puts away stock in the Bulk storage area
• Provides replenishment materials to workstations in a timely manner
• Pulls and stocks correct product to appropriate boxes and pick locations
• Transfers finished products to designated areas
• Stacks empty skids and pallets in designated areas
• Operates a manual and/or motorized pallet jack
• Uses knowledge and experience to resolve basic operating problems; reports other problems to manger
