Job summary

Material Handler III – Job Description

Position Summary: This role supports plant operations by receiving, storing, counting, issuing, and transacting equipment, materials, products, supplies, tools, and inventories to maintain a continuous flow of materials throughout the supply chain.

Responsibilities
  • Receive, store, and issue materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Operate multiple types of material handling equipment, including fork trucks, reach trucks, and picker trucks.
  • Pick items according to established procedures and package and ship materials.
  • Use scanners for inventory transactions and perform cycle counts.
  • Conduct physical and scale counts to ensure accurate inventory levels.
  • Complete system transactions and procedures to maintain inventory records.
  • Ensure a flow of materials throughout the supply chain to support operations.
  • Perform physical inventories and assist with other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience in materials handling or warehouse operations.
  • Proficient math skills and basic computer skills for performing inventory transactions.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English.
  • Physical capability to occasionally stand, sit, use hands to handle, feel, and lift/move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to pass a pre-hire drug test, including for marijuana.

  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment, such as safety shoes, hearing protection, and safety glasses.
Working Conditions

Work is performed on‑site at the distribution center in Sparks, Nevada. The position is at‑will; either the employee or the company may terminate the employment relationship at any time, with or without notice, for any lawful reason.
