Job summary

Watts Water Technologies in Franklin, NH is seeking a Materials Handler to receive, store, count, issue and transact equipment, materials, products and supplies to support plant operations. This on-site role reports to the Materials Supervisor and entails travel less than 10%.

You will work with forklifts, scanners and counting procedures to ensure continuous material flow and accurate inventories, contributing to Watts' quality water solutions and manufacturing excellence.

Qualifications

  • Requires 3+ years of related experience.
  • Must be able to read, write and understand English.
  • Basic math and computer literacy required.

Responsibilities

  • Receiving and processing incoming materials.
  • Operating forklift, reach truck and picker truck.
  • Packing, shipping, and cycle counts as needed.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with physical counts.
  • Support production needs and material movement on the shop floor.

Scope of Position

This self‑directed, detail‑oriented individual, as part of the Materials team, will be responsible for receiving, storing, counting, issuing, and transacting equipment, material, products, supplies tools and inventories in support of plant operation. This position reports to the Materials Supervisor. This role is onsite and is based in Franklin, NH.

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Receiving Fork Truck Operation
  • Reach Truck Operation
  • Picker Truck Operation
  • Picking per procedures
  • Packaging and shipping
  • Scanner Operation
  • Cycle Counts, as required Physical and scale counting DO system transactions and procedures
  • Provide a continuous flow of materials throughout the supply chain
  • Perform physical inventories, as required
  • Machine, Assembly and other duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned the DC Supervisor or company management.
  • Travel Requirements: less than 10%
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of related experience
  • Proficient math skills
  • Basic computer skills to perform computer‑related transactions
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English

Working Conditions

While performing the job duties, you will be working on‑site in a manufacturing facility. You will be required to work at the Company’s Franklin location in Franklin, NH. Your scheduled work hours will be communicated to you by your manager.

Physical Requirements
  • Specific physical abilities required for this position include, but are not limited to: Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to push and pull up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to physically move around manufacturing floor.
  • Ability to read documents and communicate clearly with management and coworkers.
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment, which may include, but is not limited to, safety shoes, hearing protection, and safety glasses.
