Job summary

Johnstone Supply is hiring a COS Material Handler I to join our warehouse team. You will receive, fill, and ship products accurately, operate forklifts, and handle packing and labeling while following safety procedures.

Key tasks include inventory stocking, order fulfillment, and processing paperwork. A forklift certification and 0–1 year of related experience are preferred, with a high school diploma or GED required. We offer competitive wages and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 0–1 year of related experience and/or training.
• Preferred: Experience with a picker, forklift, RF scanner, and inventory management systems.
• Knowledge of HVAC wholesale industry, principles, and practices.

Responsibilities

• Receives product by unloading trucks using forklift or by hand.
• Operates power equipment safely to locate, put away, and move products.
• Ensures shipments are accurate by inspecting freight and completing necessary paperwork.
• Fills orders by picking, packing, and labeling for shipment.
• Maintains inventory accuracy and participates in cycle counts as assigned.
• Maintains a safe work environment and follows safety rules and procedures.
