Job summary

Clear Destination Inc. Kansas City, MO is seeking a Material Handler to support Operations by moving and stocking materials and finished products to designated areas within the facility.

You will operate a hand scanner, pallet jack and forklift, pick and stock items, transfer finished products, and ensure replenishment to workstations. Standing on concrete floors, safety gear is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Familiarity with part numbering systems is a plus.
• Able to operate a pallet jack, forklift, order picker and Drexel.

Responsibilities

• Supports Operations by moving and stocking materials and finished products to designated areas in the facility.
• Uses a hand scanner to track materials and inventory.
• Picks up incoming materials fromReceiving dock and unloads/puts away stock in Bulk storage.
• Provides replenishment materials to workstations in a timely manner.
• Pulls and stocks correct product to boxes and pick locations; transfers finished products.
• Stacks empty skids and pallets; operates manual/motorized pallet jack.
• Reports basic operating problems to management and resolves simple issues.

Job Summary

Schedule: 6:00 am - 3:00 pm (Monday - Thursday) & 6:00 am - 12:00 pm (Friday)

Hourly Pay Rate: $19.00

Supports Operations by moving and stocking materials and finished products to designated areas in the facility.

Essential Job Functions *

• Ability to use a hand scanner
• Picks-up incoming materials from the Receiving dock
• Unloads and puts away stock in the Bulk storage area
• Provides replenishment materials to workstations in a timely manner
• Pulls and stocks correct product to appropriate boxes and pick locations
• Transfers finished products to designated areas
• Stacks empty skids and pallets in designated areas
• Operates a manual and/or motorized pallet jack
• Uses knowledge and experience to resolve basic operating problems; reports other problems to manger

Work Environment

Material Handler: Must be forklift operation certified. Standing on concrete floors up to 8 hrs/day. Exposure to loud noise. Functional vision and hearing required.

Material Handler: Medium - Heavy, lifting up to 70 lbs.
