Job summary

Veolia Group is seeking a Material Handler to manage inventory and warehouse operations for environmental services facilities in the United States. You will safely handle hazardous and non-hazardous materials, operate forklifts, and maintain accurate records across calibration logs and stock control.

The role requires forklift certification, ability to lift 50+ pounds, and strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

HS Diploma, GED or equivalent.
At least 1 year of experience and knowledge of warehouse management, forklift operation and/or resins and water treatment experience.
AS Degree in Business or Supply Chain preferred.

Responsibilities

Receive incoming shipments of goods and unload with forklifts or similar equipment.
Verify items match accompanying documentation.
Inspect items for damage before storage.
Maintain accurate logs and reports for calibration/operation.
Ensure safety regulations and environmental standards are met.
Use warehouse management systems for inventory tracking.
Receipt, storage, issue and stock control of materials.
Maintain reagent and chemical inventory in the calibration room.
Assist Material buyer in cycle counts and yearly inventories.
Receive and issue parts for plant and field use.
Stock spill kits, fire locker and waste area housekeeping.
Rebuild and test configurations of Cla-Vals and dosing pumps.
Handle potentially hazardous chemicals and storage areas.
Follow safety procedures when operating equipment.
Perform routine equipment maintenance checks.
Keep loading and docking areas clear.
