Job summary

Veolia in North America is seeking a physically active team member to manage hazardous waste handling, including consolidation, treatment, storage, and transport per environmental rules.

You will operate a forklift, move containers between areas, and ensure accurate documentation while complying with safety guidelines; occasional nights, weekends, or variable shifts may apply. This role emphasizes reliability and teamwork in diverse conditions.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
• Ability to stand and walk on uneven surfaces for extended periods.
• Willingness to wear PPE (glasses, helmet, steel-toe shoes, gloves, coveralls, respirator).
• Capacity to perform outdoors in all weather and indoors in non-climate-controlled spaces.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate, treat, store, transport and/or dispose of hazardous waste in line with regulations.
• Operate forklift and move containers to storage/treatment areas and load/unload trailers.
• Complete required documentation accurately and on time per customer policies.
