Job summary

BlueLinx is seeking a Material Handler / Forklift Operator for our Buffalo distribution center. You will operate forklifts safely, load/unload materials, and prepare shipping paperwork, while keeping the work area tidy and compliant with safety guidelines.

The position offers a fixed rate of $24.50 per hour, a Monday–Friday schedule, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, tuition reimbursement, life insurance, PTO, and 8 holidays per

Qualifications

• One year or more forklift/warehouse experience required.
• Ability to operate forklift safely per training guidelines.
• Ability to read and comprehend sales orders and safety materials.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift in accordance with safety guidelines.
• Load, unload, and store building materials from trailers/rail cars.
• Prepare distribution and shipping paperwork accurately.
• Perform daily inspection and routine maintenance of equipment.
• Maintain clean and organized work area and assist in counts.
