Job summary

Wabash is seeking a Material Handler/Forklift Driver to support the production floor by operating forklifts, moving materials and assisting with receiving, storage, and shipping activities. The role emphasizes safety, quality and timely delivery in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include material organization, daily activity reporting, defect identification and equipment use. Training is provided, with PPE required and potential cross-department opportunities on the shop

Qualifications

• Pre-employment drug screen
• PIV (power industrial vehicle) training
• Basic reading/writing/math and verbal skills
• Basic computer knowledge

Responsibilities

• Own and help improve safety, quality and delivery performance
• Keep materials organized and accessible
• Maintain and report daily receiving and shipping activities
• Report defects and need for repairs
• Keep lines stocked with the proper materials
• Operate forklifts and related equipment
• Complete duties per supervisor directions and may flex to other departments
