Aerotek is seeking a reliable Forklift Material Handler to operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, moving materials throughout the facility. The role requires a safety-first mindset, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environment.

Based on Frankfort, KY, this is a contract-to-hire position with competitive hourly pay and onsite availability.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts preferred.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Experience in warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environments is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Forklift certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Material Handler to join our team. This position will be responsible for operating both sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, unload, store, and distribute materials throughout the facility. The ideal candidate will have previous forklift experience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environment.

Work Environment

This position is based on the production floor in a manufacturing environment, working in close proximity to operating equipment and ongoing production activities.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Frankfort, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.25 - $20.25/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
