Job summary

Specialty Building Products is seeking a Material Handler to support receiving, movement, shipping and production tasks. The role operates forklifts and related equipment, with a standard Mon-Fri 7am-4:30pm CST schedule. Primary duties include pulling orders, moving and staging material, and supporting inventory accuracy.

Candidates should have forklift experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to read tickets, SKUs and product codes. Reading a tape measure is required.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience required.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform duties with accuracy.
• Ability to read tickets, SKUs, UPC labels and reports.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Combilift, forklifts or other machinery to load/unload, move, stage, pull orders and transport material.
• Band, wrap, and tape product as needed.
• Accurately pull daily orders.
• Assist with inventory variances, order accuracy and track/trace issues.
• Read tickets and understand product codes.
• Must be able to read a tape measure.
