We are currently looking for a Material Handler to join our team. The successful candidate meets safety, production, sustainability, and quality standards. The Material Handler interacts with other departments to achieve the company's core strategies and moves products to accommodate production.

Responsibilities:
- Read and understand Job Tickets and layouts to produce the correct product of the highest quality.
- Understand and execute plans and schedules in an accurate and prompt manner to maximize throughput.
- Work closely with all associates to coordinate workflow.
- Maintain performance metrics at or above the team average.
- Complete required documentation accurately and promptly.
- Safely operate material moving equipment.
- Assist in maintaining equipment for optimal operation, including adjustments and preventative maintenance.
- Enter information correctly into systems for job tracking and payroll.
- Dispose of waste materials into proper storage containers, marking and identifying containers with required documentation.
- Comply with safety policies, GMP, HACCP, BRC, and other applicable regulations.
- Interact professionally and treat all associates with respect, maintaining the company code of ethics.
- Maintain daily housekeeping efforts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent, with relevant training and experience.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment; forklift experience required.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Computer literacy.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical demands include standing, using hands, reaching, talking, hearing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Specific vision requirements include near, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- Knowledge of inventory control and shipping/receiving is a plus.
