Warehouse Material Handler I - 3rd Shift

Join the Hillman Team as a 3rd Shift Material Handler I

Base Pay: $15.75 / hr

Shift Differential: $1.50/hr for hours worked on 3rd shift.

Anticipated Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday from 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Job Summary

Supports operations by moving and stocking materials and finished products to designated areas within the facility.

Essential Job Functions
  1. Use a hand scanner to identify and track materials.
  2. Pick up incoming materials from the Receiving dock.
  3. Unload and store stock in the Bulk storage area.
  4. Provide replenishment materials to workstations promptly.
  5. Pull and stock correct products to appropriate boxes and locations.
  6. Transfer finished products to designated areas.
  7. Stack empty skids and pallets in designated areas.
  8. Operate manual and/or motorized pallet jacks.
  9. Use knowledge and experience to resolve basic operating problems; report other issues to management.
Education & Experience
  • High School diploma or GED required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Competencies – Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Familiarity with part numbering systems is a plus.
  • Ability to operate manual/motorized pallet jacks, forklifts, and order pickers.
  • Must be certified in forklift operation.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
  • Ability to operate a hand-held RF scanner.
  • Ability to stand on concrete floors for up to 8 hours a day.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
