Warehouse Material Handler I - 3rd Shift

Join the Hillman Team as a 3rd Shift Material Handler I

Base Pay: $15.75 / hr

Shift Differential: $1.50/hr for hours worked on 3rd shift.

Anticipated Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday from 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Job Summary

Supports operations by moving and stocking materials and finished products to designated areas in the facility.

Essential Job Functions
  • Operate a hand scanner
  • Receive incoming materials from the Receiving dock
  • Unload and store stock in the Bulk storage area
  • Replenish materials to workstations promptly
  • Pick and stock correct products to appropriate boxes and locations
  • Transfer finished products to designated areas
  • Stack empty skids and pallets appropriately
  • Operate manual and/or motorized pallet jacks
  • Use knowledge and experience to resolve basic operating issues; report other problems to management
Education & Experience
  • High School diploma or GED required, or equivalent experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Familiarity with part numbering systems is a plus
  • Ability to operate manual/motorized pallet jacks, forklifts, and order pickers
  • Forklift certification required
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately
  • Ability to operate RF scanners
  • Stand on concrete floors for up to 8 hours
  • Lift up to 70 lbs
