Job Details

Pay Range: $21.97/hr (fixed)

Event: Hiring event on May 7th, 2025, at U.S. Boiler Company, Lancaster, PA. On-the-spot interviews for qualified candidates. Attend from 11:00am to 2:00pm.

Work Schedule

3rd Shift: Sunday 9:30PM-5AM, Monday-Thursday 6:30PM-5AM, two Saturdays a month.

Company Overview

U.S. Boiler Company, based in Lancaster, PA, manufactures residential and commercial heating products designed, engineered, and produced in the USA. Our facilities employ nearly 300 people, focusing on products for North America.

Responsibilities
  1. Operate forklift and other loading equipment to load/unload trucks.
  2. Move boilers and packaged materials for shipment or storage.
  3. Decide on loading methods to optimize space and protect loads.
  4. Secure freight in rail or ocean containers.
  5. Verify outgoing products for quality, correct count, and type.
  6. Ensure trucks are properly chocked before loading/unloading.
  7. Perform related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED, or 1 year of related experience.
  • Experience with hand and power tools.
Physical Demands

Requires frequent sitting, handling, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, talking, hearing; occasional standing, walking, balancing. Must lift up to 10 lbs frequently, 25 lbs regularly, and up to 100 lbs occasionally. Vision requirements include close, distance, and depth perception.

Work Environment

Exposure to moving mechanical parts, outside weather, high places, vibration, and loud noise. Reasonable accommodations available for disabilities.
