Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a team member to safely operate equipment used for moving packages and heavy freight. The role includes assisting with pallet buildup/breakdown and acting as a liaison with the ULD repair vendor as needed.

Candidates must be able to lift 50 lbs without help, walk/stand for long periods, and complete required training. Drug screening and background checks are part of the process.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs without assistance from the ground to chest level.
• Able to walk and stand for designated work hours.
• Able to bend and squat for designated work hours.
• Able to climb stairs and ladders if required at work location.
• Must complete all basic and re-currency training.
• Ability to communicate in a noisy operations environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe and efficient operation of equipment used for movement of packages/documents/heavyweight, dangerous goods and ULDs.
• Assists in buildup/breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight.
• Serves as liaison between company and ULD repair vendor, as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
