Job summary

FedEx is seeking personnel for safe and efficient operation of equipment used to move packages, documents, heavyweight freight, and dangerous goods. The role includes assisting with pallet buildup and breakdown and acting as a liaison with the ULD repair vendor as required.

Other duties may be assigned. There are no educational requirements; all candidates must be able to lift 50 lbs and meet job-specific physical demands, including working in various weather conditions and possibly at different

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50 lbs from ground to chest level.
• Ability to walk and stand for designated work hours.
• Ability to bend and squat for designated work hours.
• Ability to maneuver packages above shoulder level.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions if required.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders if required.
• Ability to communicate timely and effectively in a noisy environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment for movement of packages, documents, heavyweight freight, and dangerous goods.
• Assist in buildup/breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight.
• Act as liaison between company and ULD repair vendor as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
