Adecco US, Inc. in Durham, NC is hiring a Material Handler to support production by transporting, stocking, and preparing materials for manufacturing.

You will operate forklifts and other material handling equipment with a focus on safety, maintain inventory accuracy, and collaborate with production and related departments.

Rotating 12‑hour shifts are offered (7:00 AM–7:00 PM and 7:00 PM–7:00 AM) with every other weekend off; pay ranges from $20.00 to $21.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years manufacturing, warehouse, or material handling experience preferred.
• Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification.
• Ability to operate or quickly learn material-handling equipment including forklifts and lifts.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Compensation & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $20.00 – $21.50 per hour

Schedule: Rotating 12‑hour shifts — 2 days on / 2 days off / 3 days on, with every other weekend off

• Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

What You’ll Do

As a Material Handler, you’re integral to maintaining smooth production flows by accurately transporting, staging, and preparing materials for manufacturing. Your primary responsibilities include:

What We’re Looking For

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 1–2 years of manufacturing, warehouse, or material handling experience preferred
• Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification
• Ability to operate or quickly learn material‑handling equipment including forklifts and lifts
• Basic knowledge of paper stock materials and production processes is a plus
• Strong math skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• High attention to detail, organizational skills, and a teamwork‑oriented mindset
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime as needed
