Job summary

Evergreen Goodwill of Northwest Washington is seeking a Material Handler to unload donations, sort items, and move goods to production areas. You will help maintain an efficient flow to the production floor, operate cardboard compactors, and assist with donor tallies in a fast-paced warehouse setting.

The role requires lifting 30-40 pounds, standing for long periods, and teamwork. Forklift operation is optional if certified under Seattle Goodwill standards; training is provided as needed.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• No experience required.
• Ability to lift 30-40 pounds; stand for long periods; capable of pace and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Unload donations from containers and move goods to production areas.
• Sort donations into bins for processing.
• Provide smooth flow of goods to the production floor.
• Operate cardboard compactors and identify issues.
• Keep donor tallies and maintain a clean work environment.
• Follow safety practices and report hazards.
• Support customer satisfaction and team goals.
• May operate forklift in Seattle Goodwill standards, if certified.
