Job summary

Evergreen Goodwill of Northwest Washington is seeking a Material Handler for our production department. The role unloads donations, sorts items, and moves goods to the appropriate areas to ensure a smooth workflow on the warehouse floor.

The position is outdoors/indoor warehouse work with varying temperatures. The pay rate is $21.65 per hour, with safety-focused duties, strong attendance, and the ability to communicate in writing and speaking, including with those who have limited English skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• No experience required.
• Applicants must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Unload donations from containers and move goods to appropriate production areas.
• Sort donations into appropriate bins for further processing.
• Provide smooth flow of goods to the production floor.
• Maintain donor tallies and keep a clean work environment.
• Demonstrate safe work practices and report hazards or accidents.
• Communicate effectively with others, including those with limited English skills.
