Job summary

Evergreen Goodwill of Northwest Washington is seeking a Material Handler to unload donations and move goods to production areas in an outdoor/warehouse setting. The role is non-exempt, reports to the Material Handler Supervisor, and requires 18+ years old with no experience required.

Pay rate ranges from $18.25 to $20.55 per hour depending on DOE. Forklift certification is optional pending eligibility. This position emphasizes safety, attendance, and effective communication with team members.

Qualifications

• Able to perform essential duties of the job.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Lift and carry up to 30-40 pounds; vertical and horizontal movement, standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Unload donations from containers and move goods to production areas.
• Sort donations into appropriate bins for processing.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow safety procedures.
• Operate forklift when certified per Seattle Goodwill standards.
• Maintain donor tallies and report hazards or accidents.
• Support smooth flow of goods to the production floor.
