Job summary

TAPCO is hiring a Material Handler for 2nd shift in Brown Deer, WI. The role involves moving throughout the warehouse, operating stand-up and sit-down forklifts, and supporting picking, packing, receiving, and shipping activities.

Schedule is Monday-Thursday 1:00 PM - 11:30 PM with a transition to 1:00 PM - 10:30 PM on target dates; pay ranges from $22.00 to $26.00 per hour with shift differential, plus holidays, vacation, parental leave, 401K, and health benefits.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years' experience in a related role or in a distribution center environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-3 years forklift experience loading / unloading trucks
  • Experience using an Inventory Control System

Responsibilities

  • Operate needed warehouse equipment as assigned
  • Verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records
  • Use WMS system to look up, verify data, process orders
  • Stock items into proper locations
  • Load/unload trucks for shipments
  • Pack and label shipments and ensure packaging meets requirements
