Job summary

TAPCO Inc. is seeking a Material Handler to support warehousing operations at our Milwaukee distribution center. The role involves moving throughout the facility, operating stand‑up and sit‑down forklifts, and supporting receiving, packing, and shipping functions.

The position requires 2+ years in a distribution environment, HS diploma, and forklift experience. Training is provided, with benefits including a 401(k) match, health/dental/vision, and growth opportunities within TAPCO.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a distribution center or related role.
• 2-3 years forklift experience loading/unloading.
• Experience using an Inventory Control System.

Responsibilities

• Operate needed warehouse equipment as assigned.
• Verify identifying information and counts against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or records.
• Use computer or handheld to look up, verify data, and process orders in the WMS.
• Load/unload trucks and stock items into proper locations.
• Assemble containers and affix shipping labels to shipments.
