Job summary

Old-Castle-Building-Envelop in Terrell, TX is seeking a Material Handler 2 for the 2pm - 10:30pm shift. You will move metal products from tables, facilities, and trucks to the production area, maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency while reporting to the Production Supervisor.

The role requires reliable work ethic, problem solving, and a safety-first mindset, with potential for growth within the Fabrication department. Weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, understand, and communicate paperwork and labels.
• Ability to read and interpret basic mathematical measurements and effectively use a tape measure.
• Must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule including working weekends as necessary.
• One year of previous work experience in a warehouse, manufacturing or production facility, preferred.
• An uncompromising safety-first approach in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials including metal, doors, frames from tables, delivery trucks, and/or wood crates for eight or more hours daily.
• Quality inspection, operating equipment, and/or manually maneuvering equipment.
• Perform different job functions on a rotating basis.
• Inspect product for any abnormalities and notify supervisor immediately of any issues.
• Utilize a tape measure to ensure product is within the product specifications.

The Material Handler 2is focused on moving metal products from tables, facility, delivery trucks, or wood cratesand reports to the Production Supervisor.

This role is perfect for an individual who has attention to detail (safety, quality, efficiency), strong work ethic/reliability, and is a problem solver. A vital member of the Fabrication department, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.
