Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope in Terrell, TX is seeking a Material Handler 1 to move metal products, load and unload, and support the Fabrication department.

The role emphasizes safety, attention to detail, and the ability to read paperwork and use a tape measure. Weekend availability may be required, with opportunities for growth and a stable, team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• One year of previous work experience in a warehouse, manufacturing or production facility preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and communicate paperwork and labels.
• Must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule including weekends as necessary.
• Uncompromising safety-first approach in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Transport of materials including metal, doors, frame from tables, delivery trucks, and/or wood crates for eight or more hours daily.
• Quality inspection, operating equipment, and/or manually maneuvering equipment.
• Perform different job functions on a rotating basis.
• Inspect product for abnormalities and notify supervisor immediately of issues.
• Use a tape measure to ensure product is within specifications.

The Material Handler 1is focused on moving metal products from tables, facility, delivery trucks, or wood cratesand reports to the Production Supervisor.

This role is perfect for an individual who has attention to detail (safety, quality, efficiency), strong work ethic/reliability, and is a problem solver. A vital member of the Fabrication department, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.

Job responsibilities include:

• Transport of materials including metal, doors, frame from tables, delivery trucks, and/or wood crates for eight or more hours, daily.
• Quality inspection, operating equipment, and/or manually maneuvering equipment.
• Perform different job functions on a rotating basis.
• Inspect product for any abnormalities and notifying supervisor immediately of any issues.
• Utilize a tape measure to ensure product is within the product specifications.
