Job summary

Spectra-Tech Manufacturing Inc. in Batavia Township, OH, is hiring a Materials Resource for the Parts Cage area. Primary duties include stocking incoming materials, cycle counts, pre-Kitting for SMT assemblies, and counting reels with specialized equipment.

This role requires attention to detail and reliable teamwork. Starting pay is $15.50 per hour, with a $500 hiring/retention bonus and a $100 monthly attendance award.

Qualifications

• Two years experience in a material handling position.
• Must be capable of counting and reconciling materials.
• Ability to pre-kit parts for SMT assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Stock all incoming materials in their proper locations.
• Perform scheduled cycle counts and inventories.
• Pre-Kit parts for SMT scheduled assemblies.
• Count reels via x-ray machine or reel counter.
• Reconcile Parts.
• Tape and reel parts as needed via Tape & Reel machine.
• Assist people who need parts or supplies.
• Bake parts per quality department instructions.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

This position is eligible for a $500.00 hiring/retention bonus!

$100 Monthly Perfect Attendance Award

Off at NOON every FRIDAY!

Hours: M-Th 3:00pm-1:45am (with the availability to train on 1st shift for 3-6 months)

Starting Pay: $15.50/hour

To serve as a materials resource in all phases of the Parts Cage area.

Responsibilities/ Principal Duties:

• Stock all incoming materials in their proper locations.
• Perform scheduled cycle counts and inventories of material.
• Pre-Kit parts for SMT scheduled assemblies.
• Count reels via x-ray machine or reel counter.
• Reconcile Parts.
• Tape and reel parts as needed via Tape & Reel machine.
• Assist people who need parts or supplies.
• Bake parts per quality department instructions.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education:

High School Diploma or GED

Experience:

Two years experience in a material handling position.

Physical/Cognitive Requirements:

Work is performed in a climate controlled manufacturing environment with frequent contact with others. Job requires prolonged sitting, standing and frequent bending, stooping, and stretching, and lifting of materials.

Waiver:

This position may be filled by an applicant without meeting all qualifications with Ownership Group review and approval.

Equipment:

Knowledge of and skills in the use of counting equipment (counting scales and reel counters) and various component prepping machines.

Work Environment:

Job functions will be performed in & around production, warehouse, and offices.
