Primary Function of Position:

The Material Handler 1 is responsible for material-handling duties supporting Logistics and Production operations, including Sustaining and NPI. Candidates must be in good standing (attendance, quality, behavior) and certified to excel in at least 3 key tasks such as receiving (tote and bulk), parts put-away (tote and bulk), material transfers (MT), stock transfer orders (STO), and systems packing (all carts). Responsibilities also include finish goods kit assembly and global inventory replenishment to the logistics warehouse.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Receiving materials both physically and systemically for production and engineering projects
• Moving approved production materials from manufacturing to logistics storage
• Replenishing parts at point-of-use for designated production lines
• Fulfilling and transacting MT requests via electronic or hard copy methods
• Fulfilling and transacting STOs and packing system carts, utilizing SAP and ISI’s Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Adhering to materials management policies, including FIFO, 5S, safety, quality, and housekeeping standards
• Operating material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order-picking machines
• Maintaining handling equipment and tracking its status accurately
• Communicating material movement statuses via email to internal stakeholders
• Prioritizing tasks with attention to detail and organization
• Coordinating the disposition of non-conforming materials
