Orgill, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler to join our distribution team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will receive shipments, pick orders, and operate forklifts while maintaining rigorous inventory and safety standards.

The role requires familiarity with warehouse systems and scanners, the ability to work overtime, and strong teamwork. Orgill emphasizes safety, training, and efficient processes across our nationwide network.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or similar platforms.
• Good attendance and reliability.
• Willingness to work overtime.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to interact with all levels of management and other departments.
• Ability to maintain records and meet deadlines.
• Work well in a team and have a can-do attitude.
• Power equipment certification is a plus.
• Must read, write and speak English.

Position Summary

The Material Handler is responsible for the following warehouse activities including but not limited to: receiving, fullcase orders, repack stock, and fullcase stock.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Receive supplier shipments
• Pick customer orders
• Operate forklifts or other equipment
• Maintain inventory integrity and product safety at all times
• Operate a handheld scanner
• Obtaining power equipment certifications; electric power jack, walker/rider, and forklift
• Meet and exceed quality and production standards
• Ability to take direction from management
• Adheres to DC housekeeping guidelines
• Ensures Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Perform all job duties in accordance with OSHA standards and adhere to all policies, rules, regulations and proceduresPerforms all other tasks and duties as assigned

Requirements And Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred
• Knowledge and experience with (WMS) warehouse management systems, or other platforms
• Excellent attendance record
• Must be willing and able to work overtime
• Good comprehension and organizational skills
• Ability to interact effectively with other departments and all levels of management
• Ability to maintain records accurately and demonstrate problem solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize work and to meet deadlines
• Must be a team player with a can-do attitude
• Power Equipment certification a plus
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English

Physical Requirements

• Must have the ability to meet physical assessment requirements for this position
• Ability to lift up to 25lbs frequently, 50lbs occasionally, and 75lbs rarely
• Ability to complete the physical assessment at the Material Handler II level
