Orgill Rome Distribution Center is seeking Material Handler Positions to join our team! We are hiring in Inbound, Order Filling, and Shipping Departments – Full‑Time Positions - 1st Shift- $19.75.

Duties & Responsibilities

Order Filling – Primarily responsible for the support of the DC by efficiently picking merchandise located in all order filling zones and labeling each carton in a manner which promotes ease of identification and scanning.

Shipping – Primarily responsible for the support of the DC by efficiently sorting, scanning, staging and wrapping merchandise. Department Material Handler also checks merchandise and ensures the product is loaded and checked in the proper delivery sequence by customer stop code.

Stocking – Primarily responsible for the support of the DC by efficiently stocking inbound merchandise to designated locations in a timely manner.

Receiving – Primarily responsible for the support of the DC by efficiently scanning, receiving, and staging inbound merchandise accurately and in a timely manner. Sorts the merchandise by department, restacks, and wraps the pallets to ensure that product is ready to be transported to the appropriate staging area.

Specific Responsibilities
  • Must be able to accurately pick and label merchandise from primary pick locations.
  • Must be able to accurately identify units of measure.
  • Must be able to identify correct merchandise and account for damaged merchandise.
  • Must be able to prepare orders for transport to customers.
  • Must be able to meet quality and productivity standards.
  • Ability to take direction from Supervisor.
  • Excellent attendance and reliable predictability a must.
  • Adheres to DC housekeeping guidelines.
