Job summary

Vrc Es in Woodinville, WA is hiring for a production/warehouse associate responsible for material handling, inventory control (FIFO), mixing, weighing and quality checks, and safe machine operation. You will set up workstations, maintain equipment, and assist in production, including acting as relief operator. 1st shift 6:30AM–3PM; 2nd shift 2:30PM–11PM.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent, with basic math knowledge.
  • Must have problem solving skills for manufacturing issues.
  • Self-starter with a can-do attitude; always working in CCM’s best interest.
  • Work well with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  • Ability to follow instructions and prescribed routines/methods.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Ability to analyze and reconcile issues.
  • Effective communication with others.

Responsibilities

  • Move, store, and track materials within the manufacturing facility.
  • Load and unload shipments and ensure materials meet schedules.
  • Set up workstations and molds for production presses.
  • Maintain safety and good housekeeping; keep area clean.
  • Conduct inventory control using FIFO and maintain traceability.
  • Mix and weigh materials to meet job requirements.
  • Verify weights and update inventory in IQMS.
  • Mark containers with identification and quantities; ensure proper dating.
  • Check dryer settings and troubleshoot to meet production plans.
  • Act as relief operator during breaks as needed.
  • Inspect parts for quality and stop unsafe equipment.

Job description

Essential Duties:

Involves a variety of tasks related to the efficient movement, storage, and tracking of materialswithin the manufacturing facility.

  • Loadingandunloadingshipments:
    Ensuring materials are accurately mixed, dried, and brought to the machinestomeetcustomerschedules.
  • Settingupworkstationsandmolds:
    Assisting setup technicians in preparing workstations and molds for production presses.
  • Maintainingsafetyandgoodhousekeeping:
    Ensuring a clean and safe workenvironment.
  • Clean and maintain material handling equipment, conveyors and drying equipment.
  • Inventory control of all materials in a First In First Out method with Traceability maintained.
  • Mixes, batches, and/or blends material for production.
  • Responsible for weighing and mixing color concentrates with raw material to meet the job requirements.
  • Critical verification of weights before and after each production run to ensure accurate inventory movement, including update of IQMS system for quantities consumed.
  • Ensures all hoppers, Gaylords, boxes, and other containers are marked accurately with material identification and quantity along with date as necessary.
  • Check dryer settings against the approved setup sheet attached to the manufacturing plan.
  • Troubleshoot and adjust dryers as required to produce parts in accordance with the work instructions and manufacturing plan in a safe manner.
  • Act as a relief operator for breaks or as needed.
  • Check color of parts using colorimeter or color chip before releasing parts as production ready.
  • Create MRO work orders for any materials equipment maintenance.
  • Qualitycontrol:
    Inspecting produced parts for defects and ensuring compliance with qualitystandards.
  • Machineoperation:
  • Identify any unsafe condition(s) of machine and/or support equipment and notify maintenance or your supervisor immediately.
  • Stop unsafe equipment from operation and lock out from power source.
  • Cleaning and loading all hoppers as required.
  • Recordkeeping:
    Documentingproductionandinspectionresultsaccuratelyandinatimelymanner
  • Safety compliance:
    Adhering to all safety procedures and regulations within the plant.
Knowledge, Skills & Education:
  • High School diploma or equivalent, with possession of basic math knowledge.

Base Wage:

$21 per hour based on experience + shift differential

Shift Differential:

2nd Shift: plus $1.00/hour

Work Hours:

1st Shift: Monday through Friday 6:30AM to 3PM
2nd Shift: Monday through Friday 2:30PM to 11:00PM
