Job summary

Crenlo Engineered Cabs in Watertown, SD is seeking a Materials and Shipping Associate to execute material transactions, packaging, and handling in the assembly, warehouse, and shipping areas. The associate will support packaging shipments for both production and service shipments, removing completed production units off the shipping line and in and out of production work cells.

A successful candidate is a self-motivated multi-tasker with a strong work ethic.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of shipping procedures.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to use and read measuring tools (tape measure).
• Understands computer ready weight system.
• Good communication and personable skills.
• Good written communication skills - legible writing.
• Ability to inspect incoming/outgoing products to quality specs.
• Intermediate computer skills (MS Office and Oracle).
• Intermediate analysis and problem solving skills.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs unassisted.

Responsibilities

• Unload items from shipping line, scan and tag cabs, place in locations.
• Load/unload water test booth for assembly.
• Load trucks for shipment.
• Build crates per print for shipment needs.
• Packaging of both production and service orders.
• UPS assist.
• Cycle count when time permits.
• Assist line-side inventory deliveries.

The associate will support packaging shipments for both production and service shipments, removing completed production units off the shipping line and in and out of production work cells. Additionally, the associate will support line side materials delivery to assembly production lines. A successful candidate is a self-motivated multi-tasker that utilizes a strong work ethic to ensure all quality levels are met.

Education And Experience Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required

Working Conditions/Other

• Work Hours/Status:
• The 1st shift includes Monday - Thursday 5am - 3pm.
• The 2nd shift includes Monday - Thursday 3pm - 1am with a shift differential of $3.00/hr.
• The weekend shift includes Friday - Sunday 6am-6pm for a total of 36 hours and added weekend shift differential of $4.50/hr.
