Job summary

Bold + is seeking a Material Handler to move, store, and supply raw materials and finished goods across the manufacturing facility. You will help maintain production flow, verify materials, and keep accurate records in a safety-focused environment.

Responsibilities include transporting materials, loading/unloading, and collaborating with production teams. The role emphasizes safety, PPE usage, and adherence to schedules, with a 4-day work week and potential overtime.

Qualifications

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds regularly.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, noise, and welding fumes.

  • Supply production areas with materials according to work orders and schedules.
  • Load and unload materials manually or with handling equipment.
  • Verify materials for accuracy, damage, and proper identification.
  • Stage materials for production, shipping, or storage as required.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and material movement documentation.
  • Identify and report material shortages, damages, or discrepancies.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or carts safely (if certified).
  • Follow all safety protocols and use of PPE.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with production, shipping, and receiving teams.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Material Handler is responsible for moving, storing, and supplying raw materials, components, and finished goods throughout the manufacturing facility to support efficient production flow. This role ensures materials are available where and when needed while maintaining accuracy, organization, and safety standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
