Job summary

TriMas Packaging LLC in Hamilton, Indiana is seeking a Material Handler -1st to support warehouse operations on-site. The role focuses on inventory control, forklift operations, and safe handling of materials to keep shipments moving.

You will scan items, assist receiving tasks, and maintain accurate records, with emphasis on safety, teamwork, and compliance with company policies. Valid forklift certification is required or the ability to obtain training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, inventory, or forklift experience preferred.
• Valid forklift certification/license or ability to complete company forklift training.
• Ability to scan, track, and maintain inventory records with accuracy.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work safely with hazardous materials.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Hybrid/On-Site: This role is required to be on-site at the Hamilton, Indiana location

MAIN DUTIES

• Operate lift trucks; must have a valid forklift license or be able to complete forklift training.
• Scan products in and out of the warehouse and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Assist with receiving clerk tasks and perform these duties as needed.

Qualifications

In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the expected pay range for this position is19.28-26.47.
