Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope is seeking a Material Handler for the 2nd shift in Terrell, TX. The role focuses on moving metal products, ensuring safety and quality, and reporting to the Production Supervisor.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in a warehouse or production facility.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials (metal, doors, frames) from tables, delivery trucks, or crates for eight+ hours daily.
• Quality inspection, operate equipment, or manually maneuver equipment.
• Perform different functions on a rotating basis.
• Inspect products for abnormalities and notify supervisor of issues.
• Use a tape measure to ensure product specifications.

What You’ll Get to Do

The Material Handler is focused on moving metal products from tables, facility, delivery trucks, or wood cratesand reports to the Production Supervisor.

This role is perfect for an individual who has attention to detail (safety, quality, efficiency), strong work ethic/reliability, and is a problem solver. A vital member of the Fabrication department, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.

Job responsibilities include:

• Transport of materials including metal, doors, frame from tables, delivery trucks, and/or wood crates for eight or more hours, daily.
• Quality inspection, operating equipment, and/or manually maneuvering equipment.
• Perform different job functions on a rotating basis.
• Inspect product for any abnormalities and notifying supervisor immediately of any issues.
• Utilize a tape measure to ensure product is within the product specifications.

What We Are Looking For

• Ability to read, understand, and communicate paperwork and labels.
• Ability to read and interpret basic mathematical measurements and effectively use a tape measure.
• Must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule including working weekends as necessary.
• One year of previous work experience in a warehouse, manufacturing or production facility, preferred.
